That wasn't 2004 was it Andy?

I don't rememebr it being that good.

Must have been 2002 - I actually sat in the sun looking at the sea and that air sea rescue helicopter!

No it certainly wasn't 2004 ;-)... It was my first RBRR in 2002, I'd had about 2 hours sleep and 15 redbulls and had just driven across Bodmin Moor in a pea souper!!!!
This year was much more civilised... I slept from Bristol to Lands End... however the weather...yuk

I remember the fog that year - we were using both my cars and I was driving my Vitesse with the TR7 behind me.

As the TR is white it was only the headlights that stopped it disappearing in the fog - then it did! My mate driving it switched the lights off and cruised up to us, next time I saw it was when he flipped the lights up next to us in the outer lane of the A38!

That was RBRR 2002 and that's my white Mk1 PI (MWV 905G) right behind you. I went round with Doug and Dave Thompson (something to do with eggs and baskets according to Jayne, Liz and your Mum). I had to tinker with most of the Lucas bits at some point. O rings particles in injectors 2 and 5 mostly. Grrr.
Chassis MD185 and engine CR51 - I wrote it off in February 04 after 13 spectacular years. Sadly missed. (Can I mention my replacement Lexus IS200 now?)
